Expecting Visitors from Outside Canada?

Travellers from outside Canada may need travel insurance if:

• They are not eligible for a government health plan while visiting Canada;
• They are in Canada on a work visa;
• They are in Canada on a student visa;

Travel insurance for visitors to Canada may also cover trips outside of Canada as long as your side trip originates and terminates in Canada and does not constitute more than 49% of your total number of coverage days.
